I'm having a problem posting a link or shared link from WP blog to LinkedIn with an image, & photo goes wonky. Anyone else experience this or can possibly help solve / work around? Here's a copy of what's happening. Does it if I'm posting a link using the share button, or if I'm linking direct from LinkedIn to a post with a Share Button as part of the page. In this case, I could choose any of three image. 2 weren't working at all (per the example linked here) and one was working OK. If I just have one image on the post, then it simply doesn't work at all. Help?
Thanks in advance,
- Gary
Hi Gary,
I checked your blog. Linkedin is pull the images properly, even from the post that have just one image. The problem that I found is that the images are loosing colors. The reason that could be is that linkedin resizes images to 150x80. In the process the pictures might be loosing colors. Frankly speaking if that is the case then no one else other than than linkedin can help you in that.
I did not try it out but you can definitely try resizing one of your image to exactly 150x80 px and upload it to media on your wp blog. This plugin has an option to add a custom thumbnail on post edit page. Add the link of this uploaded image there. Save the post and try sharing it on linkedin. There is no guarantee that it will work but its worth a try
< My Domain Names Generator tool crossed 50,000 page views. If you haven't tried yet, then try it out. />
