There is no other reason for the plugin not getting displayed properly. Another reason can be a conflict with other plugin but I don't think that is the case with your site. Buy clearing cache means both your website cache and also your browser cache.

I meant if you are using a cache plugin like W3 total cache or super cache. Then you need to clear the cache of these plugins too.

i dont have these plugins.
I do something with the permalink-structure, so the Like-Button works, but not the Tweet-Button Counter.
First i have installed the WP-Blog, i had it in an other folder, then make a routine to get all the stuff direct to my adress http://www.toonmix.de.
After this i have problems with the htaccess-file, because i have to do updates manually instaed of automatic-htaccess updates.
Do you think this is the beginning of the problem?
If you are worried about your twitter count then don't have to because twitter count is not updated live. The count is updated once in few hours. Have a look at this official Twitter page

Please clear the cache of W3 total cache plugin. If you deactivate the W3 cache then you can actually see that the plugin is working. So it nothing more than a cache issue

I've tried clearing the W3 cache (clicked on "empty all caches") but FB Like button still doesn;'t work.
I also tried just deactivating the W3 Total Cache plugin and tried out the Like button but it still doesn't work.
Help?
I am really unable to understand why the like is not working on your site.. Did you try some other sharing plugin? Are they working fine?

Hi, so I tried clearing the cache again (the cache of the blog as well as the cache on my browser.)
The good news is I can click on the LIKE button and the like count increases. However, when I check my Facebook account, no link to the page appears. 🙁 What could be causing this?
Liking a link doesnot make it to appear on a your facebook. You need to share it using the facebook share button

Ah, I see. I'm confused. For example, when I "LIKE" using the button on this site: http://www.technabob.com
The link to the page appears on my Facebook profile. Are these not the same?
