Please mention the link of the oembed plugin (I hope you are not talking about the embed feature of wordpress)
Also mention your site URL. I would like to test the compatibility issue of the plugin with that plugin.

Actually the plugin should not effect the embed feature. Because I am using the same plugin(modified design) and also the embed feature on this site and it works fine for me. Just that I using one more plugin "Better YouTube Embeds" and I am embedding all videos using
[ embed]video link [ /embed]

Well I am about to use a different template for my layout. I will see if that has anything to do with it. I can't use any short codes because my videos are submitted by guests.
I will see what happens.
Did you try out the "Better YouTube Embeds" plugin. This is a zero configuration plugin and all you need to do is activate the plugin. It just enhances the wordpress embed feature.
Try this plugin once. If still it does not work then I will recommend you to switch to another plugin. And I think that Addthis is the best alternative

I can't use any other plugin for my embeds because I have a simple form where the users pasts a link (not embed code) and once they submit the form it generates a post automatically and wordpress turns that URL into an embeded video.
I found another share program that will do what I need for that one site. I'll keep using this one on all my others!
Thank you so much for trying out this plugin. I know this is not the best sharing plugin. But your and other users help who are trying out this plugin and reporting bugs and suggestion I am trying to make it a better sharing plugin.
Thankyou again for trying out this plugin and I will try my best to get to the root of the error and remove it
