That fix has you modify the fbinit. This plugin doesn't seem to have one. I tried to modify it so that it would get input with the rest of the scripts. I didn't have any luck.
Is there anything you can do?
Edit: So, I noticed that when trying to view this topic it is giving just a white page to view it. Perfect example of the problem that I'm having with our main page.

Is the plugin making the site go blank?
since you are saying that when you are viewing the new topic you are getting a blank page then it means that is not your site problem or this site problem. Its your browser problem. Trying clearing the browser cache.
