I have recently upgraded to the latest wordpress version and I have installed a SEO plugin.
I have deactivated the SEO plugin to see what will happen, but the problem still remained.

Well I am sorry to say but I think that Facebook has made some changes to the share button code. Facebook has discontinued the share button long back and I think now they have permanently removed the button. (It might be a temporary issue but definitely the problem is with the Facebook share button API and I can't do anything about it). I will suggest to remove the share button for the time being.

Hi,
I read your reply above about Facebook's API but now the Facebook share button is appearing on some of my pages and not on others. I'm wondering if something has changed in the past month?
I also noticed that on my homepage at Fearless Fat Loss if I click the Share button the link that comes up to Share on FB looks like http://www.fearlessfatloss.com.....oss.com%2F which returns a 404 page.
And then on this article about permanent weight loss the button isn't there at all. A few minutes ago I was seeing it on this article about a weight loss mindset when I posted in the Pinterest thread (a different issue with the Pinterest button), but now it's gone again.
So my question is whether something has changed with the Facebook button? And if there is now a way to have it display consistently and correctly?
