I am sorry to say but if you move from http to https you will loose all your social count. The count are linked to the exact URL that includes the http://. There is no way to get back the counts. It's a known issue and every one suffers who switches to https.

Just to be clear its not this plugin issue its how facebook and other social network keeps the count.

We've had a request to put our 'tib' button into the plugin, which would be super-straight-forward for us, except we need a 'clean' unique string for each post (like, for example, the WP post ID)

Unfortunately, we can't use the encoded title, and the URL can get too long for our back-end.  The post ID is perfect, but not available (eg: as %%ID%%) - defaulting back to page ID perhaps outside the loop.

For now we're just going to add another content filter in functions.php to substitute in the ID for unparsed %%ID%% after the plugin filter, but it'd be so much easier if we could just include the ID from the button code.

(side note: the slug would probably be okay...)

Its not a big issue. All you need to do is uncheck the option to add open graph from this plugin's settings. This plugin is fully compatible with Yoast SEO
