The buttons are towards the end of the article. I have, as a test, 'liked' and 'shared' it via Facebook with a couple of accounts, but the numbers aren't appearing above the 'like' and 'share' buttons?
I've checked and unchecked the 'Optimize the script for faster loading' option within the plugin and deleted the blog's cache as well as refreshing, but the numbers still aren't appearing?
Strangely, it is only on this particular article that this problem exists. Wouldn't have anything to do with the use of a Youtube video, would it - as that's the only difference between that article and the other ones where this plugin works?

I think you are using a cache plugin on your site. If you are using a cache website then clear the cache. The like count should get displayed

I have cleared the cache several times, but it has made no difference?
I looked into the source code of the page and everything seemed to be fine to me. I haven't been able to figure it out why its happening only on one page. Well here is what I want you to do (its just a suggestion may not solve the problem). Try to change the permalink of the post from the default permalink generated by wordpress. you can do that by going to edit post and just below the Title of the post you will see the permalink. Change that see if it helps

Tried changing the permalink to something shorter, and it made no difference.
Oddly, if I view the page in an Android browser (using either an HTC Desire HD or Motorola Xoom), then the Facebook buttons work correctly - however, the Google Plus One buttons don't seem to appear at all?
