Right now you can not disable the plugin for a custom post type. If there are not too many posts then you might like to add the post ID's where you want to disable the plugin.
Not many people are using custom post types. So I haven't added the feature to disable on a custom post type.

Yes, I understand that. I was hoping that, if it's not too big a trouble for you, if you could tell me how to customize to code of this plugin to just disable it from working on posts that have custom post types..?

Don't worry buddy I will add the support to disable on custom post. I don't let down a single feature request if it does not hamper the performance of the plugin.
