I did not yet check for the conflict with the facebook commenting system. I will check it on a dummy site or if you are still using both the plugins then you can post your site URL

Yes, there is for sure conflict with Simple Facebook Connect plugin. When it's on I can't get Facebook Like button, only Facebook Share button 
Yes there is a conflict. But there is a solution. If we use the Iframe code instead of XFBML. I will add this feature to the plugin soon to switch the FB Like code.
