How a Facebook scam goes viral – Explained [Video]

Recently a lot of Facebook scams went viral like you may have seen posts of your friends wall “98% of the people can’t see this video” or “98% of the people can’t watch the video for more than 15 sec“.  Below is a typical Facebook scam post.

This kind of post normally takes you to a site and asks you to share the video to see it or post a script on your browsers address bar and execute it. When you post a script on the browser address bar, the script automatically posts the same video to all your friends wall. You friends thinks that you shared the post with them and fall into the same trap of re-sharing the video to all his Facebook friends.
