Many people have misconception that SEO is spam. But today Matt Cutts, head of web spam fighting team at Google did a webmaster video to removing the misconception which some people has regarding SEO. Matt clearly states in the video that SEO if done in a right way which will make the search engines understand the content of the page better is not spam. He also states that there are also black hat SEO techniques like too much keyword stuffing, page redirects etc. which are considered as spam. Watch the video and have a look at what he has to say-
