Well what you want to do cannot be implemented on this plugin. But I think you will definitely find some plugins that may allow you to add your custom facebook thumbnail image on post per post basis. Just search for such a plugin. There is an option to deactivate the facebook meta tags that this plugin adds, just in case you want some other plugin to handle the facebook meta tags.

Its always better to have one og:image tag. I cannot add more than one og:image tag as that will give an error. In case there are no og:image tag than facebook automatically scans the whole post and lists all the images found on that post.

I've seen you're reading out all post images anyway. so I guess it wouldn't be a big deal to give out all post images with og:image tag?!

is there an easy way to add all images of a post as og:image ?
Would that be an option to add in your next update?
I use featured images to feed my header. So the featured image of an post is not the best choice for the og:image.
If I exclude this option, the plugin takes the first image of the post, but other sites have multiple og:images to choose from, when I share them on facebook. And I would love that have this too...
If i simply remove the og:image function, I can choose from all of my images displayed at a post, but the problem is, I have a sidebar with irrelevant images showing, so this is to dangerous for me, just removing the og:image tag.
Any idea how I could manage this?

Uhm... like i've read and tested, i works perfect with more then one og:image.
And that's the only way for me to controll which images facebook scans (exclude the sidebar images)
The problem is, I'm not able to edit the code the way, that the whole array is forwarded and not just the first image and to edit the place where the og:image is set, so that it runs in a for each loop.
is there a way you can help me?
