The recently introduced Google+ Badges that were as of today available only for developers and beta testers are now available for general public. Now anyone can add the Google+ badges to their site. If you want to add a Google+ Badge then you can go to Google Plus Badge Configuration tool. Follow the below steps to add the Google+ Badge to your site.
Step 1. Open the Badge Configuration Tool (link above) and your Google+ account.
Step 2. Copy your Google+ account ID
Step 3. Paste your Google+ account ID in the badge configuration tool and configure as below
Step 4. The generated code is divided into two parts as marked below
Copy the yellow marked area as in the above image and edit your site HTML or theme and put the code just above closing of the </head> tag. If you are using WordPress then edit your theme’s header.php file and add the code just above closing of </head> tag.
Copy the second part (marked pink) and place it in your template where you want the badge to get displayed. Its easier for WordPress users as they can put this part of the code in a text widget if they would like to place the badge in the sidebar.
