Are of bored of the default Windows 7 blue logon screen? If so, then there is a simple trick to change the logon background of your Windows 7 screen.
Open regedit.exe -> Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background -> create a DWORD key OEMBackground and set it’s value to 1.
Select a background image, make sure the size is less than 256KB & matches your desktop screen resolution or bigger as it will be stretched automatically to fit the screen.
Copy the image to %systemroot%\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds (create info\backgrounds folder if not present). Rename the image to backgroundDefault.jpg then log off to see the effect.
